Veterinary Students: Apply for Podcasting Opportunity by January 10

The American Association of Swine Veterinarians is once again providing an opportunity for 30 students to earn $200 each at the 2024 AASV Annual Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee by conducting a recorded interview of an AASV speaker for podcasting. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and get to know a respected swine industry professional on a one-to-one basis.

You select and contact the speaker to schedule the interview, prepare the questions in advance, and conduct the interview during the meeting February 24-27 in Nashville, Tennessee. We take care of the recording details. You are encouraged to work with a mentor at your university to develop your questions. If you do not have someone to assist you, please feel free to contact us. The result will be a 5- to 15-minute podcast available to members on the AASV website and some extra cash in your pocket! Each year, it goes very well and students who participated enjoyed the opportunity. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Thirty podcasting spots are available. If more than thirty students apply, preference will be given to students who have not participated in the past. Likely, spots will also be available for students who have previously participated and would like to take part again.
