AVMA VLC 2024 Early Career Veterinary Scholarship Application Due Oct 31

The AVMA is offering $1,000 scholarships for 10 AVMA members to develop their leadership potential at the 2024 AVMA Veterinary Leadership Conference (VLC), taking place January 4 - 6, 2024, in Chicago.

To qualify for the scholarships, applicants must have graduated within the last five years (graduating class of 2019 or more recent).

You are highly encouraged to apply if you fall into at least one of the following categories:

• Rising leaders - Veterinarians with a desire to lead who have little or no prior leadership experience
• Under-represented in veterinary leadership - Veterinarians from a demographic, geographic, or socioeconomic group or practice type that is under-represented in U.S. veterinary leadership

Scholarships are awarded in the form of a $1,000 stipend (subject to tax) to help with the cost of registration, travel, and meals while attending the VLC. Applications for these early career scholarships to attend VLC 2024 must be received by October 31, 2023.
