AASV Members Recognized by AMVEC

The LV Annual Congress of the Mexican Association of Veterinary Specialists in Pigs (AMVEC), convened an attendance of more than 1,000 professionals from various areas of the swine sector, who sought, through the program of conferences, workshops and pre-congresses, to be trained in matters of health, sanitation, sustainability, animal welfare, food safety and more.
During the first day of activities, the congressmen participated in a series of simultaneous pre-conferences sponsored by companies in the industry, headed by Cargill , the swine genetics firm PIC, the Alivira laboratory and Jefo.
During just over 140 minutes of the inauguration of the Congress, the "life stories" that marked three of the most emotional moments of the event were applauded with videos, stories, narratives and presentations, the recognition of Dr. Joaquín Becerril to whom the development of the forum, and the two Golden Boars, delivered respectively to the doctors Alejandro Vargas Sánchez and Martha Alicia Acosta Padilla . The latter with a special tint, after the altruistic work that Dr. Martha does in her Foundation.
Dr. Joaquín Becerril is a former AASV district director for Mexico. He has been a member of AASV since 1981. Dr Martha Alicia Acosta Padilla has been a member of AASV since 1997. AASV congratulates them both!
