Iowa Select Farms (ISF) is hiring a staff veterinarian for the Southern Iowa region. Iowa Select Farms is a progressive, 240,000-sow production system located throughout the state of Iowa. The ideal candidate should be passionate about working in swine production and dedicated to being involved with the production and support staff in this geography on a daily basis. Responsibilities of this position would include working with the entire ISF multiplication system and our Southern Iowa commercial sow herds. Some limited commercial wean-to-finish site responsibilities would also be located in this area. Most production sites are located in Clark, Lucas, Union, Decatur, Taylor Adams, Ringgold, and Madison counties; with office/warehouse locations in Osceola and Afton. Minimal travel outside this geography and minimal overnight stays would be required.
