CE: Registration Open for AVMA Humane Endings Symposium
December 5, 2022 —
End-of-life decisions are the hardest decisions of all. AVMA's Humane Endings Symposium gathers the top experts on euthanasia, humane slaughter, depopulation, and psychological impacts of humane endings, to share the latest research and practical experiences related to these issues.
Being held January 27-29, 2023, the symposium will explore topics related to end-of-life procedures, harmonization of voluntary guidance and regulations for these activities, and how involvement in end-of-life activities affects people psychologically.
Earn veterinary continuing education (CE) credit by attending the symposium. Presentations will include direct personal experience in performing end-of-life procedures; lessons learned; research reviews; discussions of voluntary and regulatory oversight; and efforts or methods for making recommendations consistent nationally and internationally.
