Applications Open October 13 for New AASV Participant-Led Early-Career Swine Veterinarian Development Program

AASV will begin accepting applications for the Participant-Led Early-Career Swine Veterinarian Development Program October 13. If all eligibility criteria are met, applicants will be selected on a first come basis.

Applications will open HERE on October 13. Applications will close October 31, 11:59pm CT, or when program capacity (25) is met, whichever comes first.

The goal of the AASV Participant-Led Early-Career Swine Veterinarian Development Program, funded by the USDA-NIFA Veterinary Services Grant Program, is to create a practitioner-led, early-career swine veterinarian development program to provide participants with resources needed to encourage and ensure successful, lifelong careers as swine veterinarians and to cultivate new leaders in swine veterinary medicine.

This is truly a unique, participant-led program! Participants will select topics of most importance and significance for inclusion in the curriculum, either from a list of technical and professional development topics provided by AASV or self-identified by participants.

This program is free to selected participants, and participants attending modules in person will be given a stipend.
