People on the Move, New Grad Edition: Dr. Svetlana Ponsin

AASV welcomes Dr. Svetlana Ponsin to the veterinary profession! Dr. Ponsin received her DVM degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. She accepted an Associate Veterinarian position with Swine Health Professionals in Manitoba, where she will be performing routine herd health and regulatory visits for a large variety of swine operations encompassing all stages of production. The clinic's clientele includes - but is not limited to - Hutterite colonies, genetic nucleus herds, and boar studs across Manitoba. Dr. Ponsin enjoys working with all species so much that she is working part time for a mixed-animal practice in addition to her part-time employment with Swine Health Professionals.
