Speed Networking Event at the AASV Annual Meeting - Sign up Today

AASV members, would you like to meet the "up and coming" generation of swine veterinarians? Third- and fourth-year veterinary students, are you looking for your future spot in the world? Don't miss the opportunity to network during the AASV Annual Meeting! The AASV Student Recruitment Committee has gotten creative to offer this efficient networking activity virtually for veterinarians and veterinary students. Students and veterinarians, sign up today - space is limited!

This one-hour interview session will take place on March 2, 3:00 CST, on the Zoom virtual platform with the use of breakout rooms. It will still be a relaxed and enjoyable way to meet swine savvy students and mentors, future interns, or even potential new employees or employers! The program will be formatted similarly to the "speed dating" concept. You will have 3 minutes to visit with each other.

Students - This activity is reserved for 3rd- and 4th-year veterinary students and is essentially a series of mini-networking discussions for students to practice their interviewing and networking skills.

Veterinarians - Please note, your company/practice does NOT have to be hiring for you to participate in this event. You can use this to screen potential candidates for jobs or preceptorships, or simply to help students become more proficient at discussions with potential employers. Since this will take place virtually, we will be asking each participant for their information to give to attendees in place of business cards.
