Webinar: Nutritional Strategies to Slow Growth Rate Part 2 – May 28

The Iowa Pork Industry Center and Iowa State University Extension and outreach will host a webinar on Thursday evening May 28 from 7- 8 pm that focuses specifically on new and updated information on slowing growth rate on near market ready hogs that cannot be delivered to market due to packing plant closures and slowdowns.

Drs. John Patience, Nick Gabler and Laura Greiner from ISU Animal Science swine nutrition faculty will discuss nutritional strategies that could be implemented to slow growth rate. In addition, data from completed and on-going research trials using several of the nutritional strategies will be shared and discussed.
