District Director Candidates Announced; Balloting to Open Soon

AASV is pleased to announce the candidates for the District Director positions in Districts 2, 5, 9, and 11. In the next few days, eligible voters will receive an email message containing a link to their electronic ballot. Voters may also access their ballot by logging into their AASV Member account at aasv.org/members. The candidates in each district are:

District 2 (southeastern US: AL, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, PR, SC, TN)
Dr. Sara Dillon Hough (Fuquay Varina, North Carolina)
Dr. Emily Mahan-Riggs (Angier, North Carolina)
District 5 (Illinois, Wisconsin)
Dr. Attila Farkas (Carthage, Illinois)
Dr. Megan Schnur (Loraine, Illinois)
District 9 (Minnesota, North Dakota)
Dr. Chase Stahl (Fairmont, Minnesota)
District 11 (Canada)
Dr. Susan Detmer (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan)

Votes must be submitted by midnight (Central Standard Time) on February 28, 2020. The election results will be announced at the AASV Annual Meeting in Atlanta.
