As those of you in Iowa (and most of the rest of the U.S. if you watch any political news) are aware, the Iowa State Fair is in full swing. I made my over there this evening which just happened to be old folks day. I got in for $9. Just sayin'. Anyway, probably the funniest and most inspiring thing I saw at the fair was parked at the very top of the big hill just across from the Pork Tent was no less than 15 old folks mobility rental scooters. These folks had used the last of their battery charge to make it up the hill and were gathered around the amphitheater jamming to a Def Leppard cover band! Either that or they were too scared to try to make it back down that big hill.

My other observation was what does it mean when you get back to your car and you have to slide the seat back in order to get the seat belt to lock? </p>
