Position Announcement: Veterinary Field Sales Representative

IDEXX is looking for a motivated and passionate Field Sales Representative to direct and coordinate swine diagnostics and swine production sales efforts for IDEXX Livestock & Poultry Diagnostics (LPD) products/services to private and public veterinary laboratories, universities and farms.

What to expect

80% of customer base is located in Iowa and Minnesota. Residency in either state is required. Travel regularly to meet customers and build strong relationships. Develop overall marketing strategy aimed at swine customers to achieve strategic objectives and financial goals.

What do you need to succeed?

Veterinarian DVM with 2 years or more experience in swine health. Master or Doctorate in the area of swine health or production is a strong plus. Demonstrated record of success in sales and ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships with large accounts. Able to communicate and present highly technical information to animal health professionals. Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Travel

Car and air travel required 50% or more.
