People on the Move: Dr. Brent Carmichael

Dr. Brent Carmichael has accepted the position of Manager of Animal Health and Welfare at RC Family Farms in Orange City, Iowa. RC Family Farms is a fast-growing swine production company that works with contract producers around the Midwest. Dr. Carmichael is responsible for managing health and welfare for the company's complex herd, with numerous genetic sources and diverse health status. He supports field management and producers, working closely with veterinarians at Orange City Veterinary Clinic and other clinics in the region. Dr. Carmichael actively uses and consults regarding design and development of EveryPig™, a first-of-its-kind, online animal health platform.
